Visnjevaca (Cherry) Brandy
The name Visnjevaca is Polish for Cherry Brandy. Darrell Corti, of Corti Brothers Grocers, helped name this product and inspired its style.
Many assume that a cherry base would bring in a syrupy or cloyingly sweet profile, however, what we have here is a complex blend of spices and oak, not fruity or sweet. The cherry can actually take a long while to arrive because of the heavy barrel influence. Aged for over 4 years in used whiskey barrels, many appreciate that this can be drank in place of a classic whiskey. Enjoy neat, over ice with some chocolate bitters, or in a classic cocktail. It’s our secret weapon in Old Fashions and Manhattans using a 1:1 ratio with rye or bourbon.
Recommended to drink in a Jack Rose, Monte Carlo, Jockey Club.
Price incldues CA CRV $0.05.
