Neutral Brandy
Lumped in with vodka, this bottle follows the path of a neutral spirit but with more intense flavors that vodka lacks. This is because Vodka comes off of the still at 190+ Proof, whereas traditional Brandy and Whiskey come off at 160 Proof and below. A good rule of thumb is the higher the proof you distill, the more neutral the taste, versus distilling at a lower proof, the more flavor you have of what you’re making it from. This falls right in the middle being distilled to ~170 Proof.
Red wine from Amador county is distilled to ~170 proof, proofed and bottled with no additives, sugars, or charcoal filtering to influence the taste.
